FAQ

What is the Vivaldi Community?

A place for our friends to hang out online. We want to create a place where people can publish, read and discuss ideas with likeminded folks from around the world. We hope you like it.

Do I have to use Vivaldi’s browser to be here?

No. Many Community members use our browser. But many don’t. Everyone is welcome.

What’s included?

Every member gets a free webmail account ([email protected]), access to the Vivaldi Forums and a free Blog with a custom domain (yourblog.vivaldi.net).

What’s the catch?

We have no plans to monetize, share your data or start charging for any of these services. The Community is simply a way for us to give back something to our users. No catch.

Joshua 1:7-9 ~ GW
7 Only be strong and very courageous, faithfully doing everything in the teachings that my servant Moses commanded you. Don’t turn away from them. Then you will succeed wherever you go. 8 Never stop reciting these teachings. You must think about them night and day so that you will faithfully do everything written in them. Only then will you prosper and succeed. 9 I have commanded you, ‘Be strong and courageous! Don’t tremble or be terrified, because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’

Control…

Now I’m all grown up… Control… as some of the lyrics to Janet Jackson’s song course through my brain… I am realizing how much control I do not have.

I do not have control of how my Professor chooses to grade and critique my assignments
I do not have control over how long it is taking the online tutoring center  to review final term paper
I cannot control that it will take possibly until 10 pm Saturday night to have the paper in review form

I can however do this..
I can control my reaction to my frustration levels as it is building more inside of me.
I can release my need for control to God and let Him do all things in His timing and not mine
I know that God is my guidance and for the others who are on my team
I know that I cannot fight but go instead in peace knowing I have done the best I can for now
I can pray for patience, for my anxiousness to subside

I belong to He who made me!

Ephesians 2:19-22(ESV)

19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

Almost at the end…

Okay, so the end is almost there. Within sight.

And I have come to rely on God’s divine guidance, His word and the prayers and thoughts of my family and friends.

Plus reading life affirmations everyday to get me through. These four are some of my favorites.

Just wrapped up #BIBL323 with a 96%  and am in the final four weeks of my cumulative theological capstone.

So thank you for your prayers, thank you God for the perseverance, and thank you Pinterest for the beautiful affirmations.

God bless us all.

Looking towards the end…to just begin again.

Lately I’ve been thinking about endings.

Endings come every day, week, month and year.

There is a piece of me that wishes that I do not have to face endings. But then I think, what would happen if I did go back? Would I honestly change anything? Because without the endings that I went through I would not have new beginnings. I would not see the joy of accomplishment in my life, my family, and my community.

It took me a while to get here but I can see the finish line.
To paraphrase St. Paul… I ran the good race, I persevered,  I am ready to move on.

Now on to the  next.

Prayers you all have good endings that bring you into new beginnings.

Let's Carry Our Bibles

Pastor James MacDonald gives us this challenge…

Let’s carry physical Bibles, show our faith to the world, without shame or inconvenience. Let’s mark our Bibles as a record of what God is teaching us. Let’s not deprive ourselves of context and set ourselves up for better listening.

Who’s In?

So today…my chronic illness is kicking me in the butt…because yesterday…yesterday I did things. Feeling a cold coming on…and am so tired I just want to crawl back in bed. But there are 2 responses each for discussion boards in #Bibl323 and #Bibl450 and a lot of reading to comprehend…and there is life in general to try and function in…so I am praying that this is the worst day…that tomorrow is better {because I get to be part of praise and worship this weekend along with some amazing folks}…yet again. To my fellow #spoonies I am with you as you struggle through your day…God bless.
